The Production Engineer serves as an overall support and right-hand person to the Plant Manager, in the areas of focus identified. The Production Engineer reports to the Plant Manager. The areas of focus include production scheduling, CNC optimization, staff support, and project management.

Qualifications
A qualified individual will adopt a mindset of “master supporter” in this role. Generally speaking, they need to be hands-on, with a willingness to jump in and run equipment when needed. They need to be focused on continuous improvement, driving to results, while also working as a self-motivated and collaborative teammate, often working across levels of the organization. They need to be organized and thorough, with an ability to lead a project with a high attention on detail orientation.
Must have previous progressively responsible manufacturing experience to include experience with production scheduling, experience with CNC equipment, and familiarity with lean manufacturing principles - Lean, 5S, Continuous Improvement, Quality Systems, Root Cause Analysis (5 Why), Standardized Work, etc.
Must be competent at an advanced level with Microsoft suite products, most specifically Excel. Must be able to create documents and documentation with ease. Understanding of basic coding is helpful.
Previous CAD experience preferred.
High school degree required. Post-secondary education strongly preferred.
